Teacher Training
The practice of Chakra Aerial Yoga allows students and teachers to experience a different relationship to gravity, deepening your understanding of alignment and Prana flow, and connecting to inner joy!
Applicants should be in good physical shape and adhere to a consistent fitness routine prior to enrollment. Previous teaching experience in a related field is strongly recommended in order to pass the course. Spaces are limited and are reserved on a first-come first-served bases.
The course is structured as both a Chakra Aerial Yoga Teacher Training program, and for personal development. You need never teach a Chakra Aerial Yoga class to benefit from participating in the Chakra Aerial Yoga Teacher Training course.
Chakra Aerial Yoga founder Debz, has been practicing Yoga for over 15 years, she has trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Aircat Aerial Yoga, and Chakra Aerial Yoga and has over 10 years teaching experience. Chakra Aerial Yoga may be a new concept, but the science of Yoga is not. Debz can teach you how to use the Aerial Yoga hammock in a fun, safe and effective way, bringing a new dimension to your current classes.
Program Details
The Chakra Aerial Yoga Teachers Training program is comprised of four areas:
- Fundamentals of Chakra Aerial Yoga
- Chakra Aerial Yoga Asanas
- Sequencing an Chakra Aerial Yoga Class
- Licensing/Development/Equipment
You can either opt to do the Level 1 training run over three days, before doing the Level 2 training at a later date, or do the Level 1 & 2 training which is run over five days.
In order to teach Chakra Aerial Yoga, you must complete the training (no partial days allowed). You also must pass the final exam, assessment and do 20 hours of one-to-one sessions. The pace of this program is very fast, and it may be intense for your body, but it will also be great fun!.
Upon successful completion of the Chakra Aerial Yoga Teachers Training program and successfully passing the examination and assessment, trained teachers will have the opportunity to license and purchase two hammocks on site to continue their training and for their 20 hours of one-to-one sessions.
Once you become a licensed Chakra Aerial Yoga instructor, your name will be included on the Teacher’s page of the Aerial Yoga UK website, along with your location and contact information. You will also have the option to choose a website especially designed for Chakra Aerial Yoga Teachers. You will be required to attend at least one Teachers Development Workshop per year.
The annual renewal process will ensure safety and quality control standards. The current annual fee for renewal is £250.
